honeslty I can't remember how i found it, but doujinstyle.com/ is a great website for japanese music and games i found. implied by the title, its a site mostly for doujin fanwork (meaning just 'fanwork', and can applied to anything from music to fanmanga to games, although ive seen things that are original be labelled as doujin so it might be more or a place name? like just the kinds of audiences the work is for??), which is a lot of stuff like touhou doujin music (still very good stuff! the touhou scene is crazy), but also hosts a lot of non-doujin work, lots of electronic music, j-pop, vocaloid, anything really. they also have doujin games, which is a lot of things like fanmade fighting games and stuff like that (and of course, touhou lol).
one of my favourite things recently is just going around and looking at albums and choosing something that looks interesting, often that ive never listened to before, it really recreates the feeling of wandering around a cd store, but one thats a specialist store lol. i think that feelings is so nice to recreate and thank you to the people who keep up the site for having everything catalogued so nice. they even have a random opion that gives you 20 things at random.
it's maybe the closest ive seen thats a western portal on japanese fanmusic scenes, they even have tags for specific Comiket (and other) events. it really has a pulse on this kinda stuff. so if you're interested check it out!
link of it again in case the text-embedded link isnt that obvious, etc. https://doujinstyle.com/
