i've been listening to these albums/artists for about a year now, and theyre some of my favourite albums. kiichi was my top artist this year i hope more people can have a try of them, they're both very unknown. unfortunately i can only find full versions of these albums you can listen to for free on youtube which doesn't have the best sound quality ever : /
曇日 (Cloudy Day in english) - Kiichi - this album is pretty calm, with some acoustic tracks throughout it, but still uses a lot of electronic instrumentation. its honestly hard to explain why i like it so much, its a great range while still keeping within the same ideas in one album. its distant, but somehow also warm. i also love the album art - so pretty
my favourite song on it is probably キツネ日のあの子 (Reprise)

Piece of Cipher + - Electrocutica - an absolute tour de force of a pop(?) album. it can change styles several times over one song, but ive come out with it being my favourite albums, with recurring elements present through it and inspirations from practically everywhere. it also has very interesting instrumentation, i just don't think i've really heard too much like it. i've been listening to it for probably a year now and i still haven't gotten bored of it. it really is an experience
my favourite song on it is probably Dependence Intension
