Legião Urbana - Tempo Perdido

this is a song i keep coming back to from time to time, i kinda dont even know how to put my thoughts about this song into words lol. its a very good song, its also this band's most famous song (like, famous enough that if you see a guy in a school in Brazil carrying around a guitar, theres a 99% chance this is the song theyre going to play lol) its kinda crazy though, like this song is from 1986, and its still in the popular counsciousness.

ooh, i understand why people have liked this song for so long. it has such nice guitars, and feels powerful in its sound, but still pop. and the 80s vibe, of course

i looked up the lyrics, and i think theres some sort of trend of songs with lyrics like these, super wistful and/or romantic, that have an emphasis on time and how it passes, ending up sticking around for a long time. i usually notice it in countries like middle/eastern european countries, but then also countries like brazil. no idea why though, lol
